With a decade of experience in watch design I have collaborated with, and designed watches for, leading independent watchmakers, as well as some of the world’s most widely recognised global watch brands.

I specialise in creating beautiful and functional designs for the watch and jewellery industry, with a passion for creating pieces that not only look stunning but also stand the test of time. I have a wealth of experience working with a variety of materials and manufacturing techniques, ensuring that my designs are not only visually appealing, but also practical for production. In developing watches and jewellery, I take ideas from an initial concept through to the completion of the finished product. My work with a new client typically starts with an in-depth analysis of any existing product collections and the brand’s positioning in the market, including developing a strong USP and brand position. From this the design work begins with in-depth research to establish a design direction, before following a collaborative design process. I also help clients in the creation of new watch brands from a blank sheet of paper, guiding the journey from initial idea to having your own watch company through providing all relevent design capability, whether that is your brand identity, products, packaging, or retail environment.

I am able to help you with all your watch design needs with a true passion for what I do, with input on all aspects from the aesthetic design through to the materials used, and manufacturing techniques. I have worked on the design of watches and other timekeeping products that have ranged in retail prices from entry-level products, through to watches at the most premium point of the market, with a particular focus on haute horlogerie and independent watchmaking. As well as designing conventional watches and timekeeping instruments, I have experience in designing smartwatches, smartwatch dials, and wearable devices using the same design skillset found in horology. Beyond watches and jewellery, I have worked with others in the luxury space from writing instruments and objets d'art, to furniture and technology products.

My work is built upon a deep understanding of horology, as well as the behaviour and emotions of target clients, ensuring that the watches I design are highly legible, desirable and functional for their target market. I often develop designs that incorporate the use of traditional artisanal techniques, and I have worked with watch brands to distill their identity and visual language into compelling product collections.
